At the same time, I note the number of tank lengths the tank moves in the same time span. I count the seconds between 23m altitude marks. My air speed usually reaches around 600-650 kph, though I rarely look at it, so I may be mistaken.Īround 2000m altitude, I try to guesstimate the time it would take the bombs to fall, and the distance the tank will move. Set throttle to 5-ish% (still not sure if engines die in arcade, but don't want to risk it), deploy dive brakes, enter a dive at 60-70-ish degree angle. look at all the bomb loads available and notice in the bomb statistics it says 'tnt equivilent' or something along those lines, so multiply that number by the number of that given bomb you carry and that is the damage you will do to a base. Usually, I am at 4500-ish meters by the time I start the bombing run. I try to get as much altitude as possible before reaching the enemy tanks, to avoid fighters. Try as I might, I cannot hit a moving tank except by pure luck. Size of fuel tanks has been corrected for the 31 and 22 destroyers. I only have the default 6 100kg bombs unlocked at the moment.
